Assessment of digital capability is one of the six elements in our online EdTech Review Framework. But what does Assessment of digital capability mean?
This element covers all aspects of supporting and developing pupils’ capabilities with technology.

We want all schools to have a variety of hardware, software, and social media systems in place which enable regular showcasing of pupil’s digital work.
Digital Capabilities
We believe the assessment and recording of digital capabilities should be reliable and consistent, and that schools to regularly assess digital work completed in the classroom and beyond.
Assessment
We want all schools to have the ability to complete effective and accurate self and peer assessments - this is integral to pupils’ learning and the development of their digital capability.
